Station 5

Station 5 is the newest of all the Chaffee County Fire Protection District locations. This station was made possible through a very generous land donation by Dr. Brown and family. A grant to build the station was obtained through the hard work of Friends of Chaffee County Fire. Station 5 is located in the very fire wise community of Maysville, making this the second of only two station locations at the south end of Chaffee County. Station 5 not only serves the community of Maysville but also Colorado Fire Camp. Housed at this location is an Engine, a Type 6 Wildfire Engine, a Type 4 Wildland Engine, and an antique Howe.
