Station 4

At the heart of Poncha Springs, next door to Town Hall you will find Station 4. Situated at the "Cross Roads of the Rockies", this site is one of only two stations for Chaffee County Fire Protection District located in the south of the county. Built in 1977, Station 4 is also one of the oldest buildings. Coming in 2020, this station will undergo a remodel and expansion for resident and possible future full-time staffing. Apparatus here include an Engine, a Water Tender, a Type 6 Wildfire Engine, a Hazardous Materials Trailer, and a Rescue.
